West Bend Power is proud to announce that Kayla Pickart (Fond du Lac) has verbally accepted a scholarship offer to play collegiately at Troy University beginning in the fall of 2011.

Kayla will play there for Head Coach Sonny Kirkpatrick, who is entering his fifth season with the Trojans. Troy University (Troy, AL) plays in the Sun Belt Conference and competes there against other NCAA Division 1 schools including Florida International, Western Kentucky and Arkansas State.

Kayla helped lead the 17-Purple team to three consecutive appearances in the National Division of the JOVC in 2008, 2009 and 2010. In 2009 she was named 1st Team All-Conference and Honorable Mention All-State. Kayla is also the proud owner of an amazing 4.00 GPA.

Congratulations Kayla, on becoming a Troy University Trojan!

Lindsey Gosh

West Bend Power 16-Purple coaches B.J. Royes and Matt Gabrielse are proud to announce that Lindsey Gosh (Oconomowoc) has verbally accepted a scholarship offer to play collegiately at Marquette University beginning in the fall of 2011.

Lindsey will play there for Head Coach Bond Shymansky, who is entering his first season at MU, after coaching the last seven seasons at Georgia Tech University. Three of those seasons included trips to the NCAA Tournament.

Lindsey helped lead the 16-Purple team to some rather memorable wins over the 2009 JOVC Open Division Champions, KC Power, and the 2008 JOVC National Division Champion Iowa Rockets. She is a skilled player, a standout two-sport athlete at Oconomowoc, and also carries an impressive GPA.

Congratulations Lindsey on becoming a Marquette University Golden Eagle!
