The West Bend Power 13 Purple Team dominated in their first appearance in a 14’s tournament in Oshkosh. They took first after spending a long and enjoyable day playing five matches. Power was 5-0 at the end of the day while playing against four 14’s teams and one 12’s team. They faced some tough contenders but the girls pulled through every time. Power didn’t only grow as a better performing volleyball team, though. They also bonded as a team while they constantly laughed and conversed while they were off. By the looks of this team, it seems like the rest of their season will be meaningful and successful as they strive their way to victory.
