14 Purple wins Badger Power League

14 Purple takes 1st at the Badger Power League.
It seems as if the 14 Purple team loves to dig holes. Soon they will be carrying shovels and buckets to all of their matches. This team sure likes to give the parents something to watch as they love to get down by as many as 5-11 points and then decide to come back and win.
During the two weekend event, the 14 purple team had to come back in at least one game in almost all of the matches they played. Some coaches may get frustrated with it. However Coach Colleen and Coach Mel have decided that these young ladies just love to play and want to get as much out of a game as possible.
While they did have many holes, they did also have many amazing moments. How about Rachel Wilberg running 11 points on day 3 to come back from a 10 point deficit to beat a Green Bay Power team. How about Delaney McCreary running 15 serves on a team from Appleton during a challenge match. Not to mention the abilities of Melanie Fischer, Meghan Walters and Kelly Royer hitting and blocking out of the middle. Cassie Gillian and Sarah Laufer decided to switch things up and play each others position and did great at it. Then there is Jenna Waldhuetter who loves to hit the ball and then block a ball that the other team decided to pass just a little to tight. Lets not forget Megan Kohlman who looks a lot quieter then she actually is out on the court, watch out team she will run you over. Finally there was Baylee who can come out and dig ball after ball after ball and still have a smile on that face.
